Aftercare Instructions
Please refer to this page on what treatments/practices to do after your procedure, allowing you to heal properly and achieve the best results
Cleansing (First Week)

Clean the area 3-5 times a day, or every 4-6 hours

Use lukewarm water and gently dab with a gauze pad or a cotton round

Completely dry the area with a tissue or gauze pad and apply a thin layer of the provided aftercare ointment, do not apply more than needed
Showering/Bathing
-
Avoid submerging your face in water or allowing the treated area to come into direct contact with water
-
Use a washcloth or cleansing wipe to clean face
-
Dry the area immediately and reapply ointment
Seek Medical Attention if you Experience the Following Symptoms

Pus or yellow discharge
-
Increased swelling after 48 hours
-
Fever
-
Severe pain or redness spreading from the area
Avoid While Healing
-
Retinal/retinol, AHAs and BHAs, Vitamin C, Benzoyl Peroxide, Hydroquinone, other brighteners
-
Makeup on the treated area
-
Sweating/heavy physical activity for 7-10 days
-
Swimming, sunbeds, saunas and direct sun exposure
-
Touching the treated area unnecessarily (e.g. scratching/rubbing, licking your lips, picking off any scabs that may form while healing)

Waxing, threading, tweezing eyebrows (if treated) or undergoing additional procedures

Petroleum-based products
Once Healed
-
Wear sunscreen or SPF products on the treated area to prevent fading
-
Avoid additional procedures (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments) unless you inform the performing technician and you are fully healed
